Today I’m sharing with you my recipe for Lemon Garlic Roasted Asparagus. I make this recipe several times a year, especially around the holiday season.
To me, this recipe is the perfect veggie-forward side dish to serve along with just about any comfy entrée. I also like to make this asparagus along with quinoa and put it in storage containers in the fridge for an easy, fast meal prep.
This simple recipe consists of only 6 ingredients and is ready in 15 minutes!

Easy Step-By-Step for Making Lemon Garlic Roasted Asparagus
- Rinse the asparagus and snap the tough ends off
- Put the asparagus on a sheet pan and drizzle with olive oil, garlic, and spices
- Mix the asparagus around with your hands to evenly coat
- Roast and serve!

Lemon Garlic Roasted Asparagus

Description
This lemon garlic roasted asparagus is the perfect veggie-forward side dish to serve along with just about any comfy entrée.
Ingredients
- 1 Bundle of Asparagus, rinsed and ends snapped off*
- 2 Garlic Cloves, minced or crushed
- 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- Juice of 1/2 Lemon
- 1/2 Tsp. Kosher Salt
- 1/2 Tsp. Black Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Spread the asparagus out evenly across a baking pan and drizzle with olive oil. Move the asparagus around with your hands to make sure all pieces are evenly coated with oil.
- Sprinkle the garlic, salt, and black pepper onto the asparagus. Drizzle the asparagus with lemon juice.
- Place the pan into the oven and roast for 10 – 12 minutes.*
Notes
- Asparagus: Break off the small, tough end pieces at the bottom of the asparagus. Discard the ends.
- Roasting: Larger and thicker asparagus may take the full 12 minutes to cook and thinner, smaller asparagus may take only 10 minutes to cook.
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
